GE highlights latest Vivid scanner at ESC meeting

August 30, 2017 -- GE Healthcare has been promoting its Vivid E95 cardiovascular ultrasound system this week at the European Society of Cardiology's (ESC 2017) annual congress in Barcelona, Spain.

The ultrasound system features GE's new Productivity Elevated software to enhance productivity, as well as the company's cSound software beamformer image reconstruction platform to better process views of the heart.

The cSound software also offers automated features designed to streamline both routine and advanced studies. The time saved can be used to evaluate critical cases and deliver high-quality, efficient care, according to the company.
