Fujifilm receives contract extension for Synapse

March 11, 2020 -- Fujifilm Medical Systems has received a contract extension for its Synapse PACS and Synapse 3D surgical planning software from the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital (RJAH) in Oswestry, U.K., until September 2023.

The agreement includes RJAH's upgrade to Fujifilm Synapse 5 PACS, designed to enhance productivity, secure patient data and privacy controls, advance clinical collaboration, and optimize workflow, according to the vendor.

The hospital is a specialist orthopedic facility that provides a comprehensive range of musculoskeletal, surgical, medical, and rehabilitation services. It has utilized Fujifilm's Synapse PACS and Synapse 3D software since 2013.
