April 7, 2021 -- The European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) has provided an update on molecular imaging research, including a major project award.

The British Heart Foundation, the German Centre for Cardiovascular Research, and the Dutch Heart Foundation awarded 1.2 million euros to the quantitative imaging in cardiac transthyretin amyloidosis (I-CARE) project.

In other business, the draft of Horizon Europe's 2021-2022 work program has been shared and is pending final approval. Also, the new online learning platform from the European School of Multimodality Imaging and Therapy is live, with a full launch expected in May.

Finally, organizations that need support for grant writing should consider partnering with the European Institute for Biomedical Imaging Research to improve their funding opportunities.
