May 4, 2017 -- Image-guided therapy firm Brainlab has begun installing its latest stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) planning software, Brainlab Elements, across its client base around the world.

The software subscription service addresses several applications. Cranial SRS makes radiosurgery planning efficient with an integrated algorithm for patient-tailored treatments, Multiple Brain Mets SRS allows for the delivery of single-session treatments for multiple metastases, and Spine SRS helps estimate dose along specific vertebrae for enhanced spinal cord sparing, the company said.

Brainlab has installed the package at hospitals in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and France, as well as in the U.S. and Latin America, according to the firm.
