Vienna's 2022 tourism prize goes to ESR

November 22, 2022 -- The tourism and leisure industry division of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce has awarded the European Society of Radiology (ESR) its tourism prize, according to media outlet WKO.

In 2022, the ESR was the first major professional organization to return to an in-person meeting in Vienna after the pandemic, the WKO report stated. The European Congress of Radiology (ECR) was responsible for 9% of hotel stays during the conference, and average expenditure for attendees was 541 euros.
