Under the agreement, Barco's skin imaging platform Demetra will be integrated in MediPortal's electronic health record (EHR) system. Demetra was designed to provide point-of-care visualizations to support clinicians' decisions on management strategies, diagnosis, treatments, and follow-ups with their patients. MediPortal's EHR system, Mediris, is an online platform built to collect, store, manage, and transmit a patient's electronic medical record in a secure way.

The integration will allow clinicians to access patient demographics from Mediris on Demetra's point-of-care diagnostics device and then provide access to the diagnostic imaging via Mediris' EHR platform.
