July 11, 2018 -- Image-guided radiation therapy developer ViewRay will install its MRIdian linear accelerator at Centre Georges-François Leclerc in Dijon, France.

The installation is part of a contract with UniCancer, a hospital network of 19 French comprehensive cancer centers.

The MRIdian features real-time on-table adaptive radiotherapy treatment, which allows clinicians to adjust for anatomical changes that may occur daily during patient's course of treatment.

Oncologists also can visualize and track contours of tumors and surrounding organs during radiation delivery through a nonionizing, streaming video.
