Hologic adds 3D breast ultrasound to SuperSonic units

January 22, 2021 -- Hologic has announced the launch of 3D breast ultrasound on its SuperSonic Mach 30 and 20 systems in Europe.

The upgrade means access to the high-resolution B-mode and ShearWave Plus elastography 3D volumes on the ultrasound systems, which can help with the workup of difficult lesions and with estimating size of tumors, according to the company.
