Several thousand employees of GE in more than 40 global locations will form "human ribbons" during the month of October and visually demonstrate the fight against the disease during internationally recognized Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

New countries taking part in the campaign include Egypt, Venezuela, and Ukraine.

The company has also created a Breast Cancer Mosaic website, in which individuals may add their stories about and experiences with breast cancer.
