Agfa HealthCare has won a contract with the Bristol Royal Infirmary for nine computed radiography (CR) systems and a direct digital printer.
The facility has replaced its existing CR devices with five of Agfa's CR 30-X digitizers and four other CR units, all of which include the company's Musica image processing and workstation, Agfa said. As well, the agreement includes Agfa's DryStar 5300 printer.
The Bristol Royal Infirmary is one of eight hospitals within the University Hospitals Bristol National Health Service (NHS) Foundation Trust, and one of the oldest in the U.K., according to the firm.
