By AuntMinnieEurope.com staff writers

July 16, 2012 -- Carestream Health has taken an order for another Carestream DRX-1 digital radiography (DR) system from UZ Brussel Hospital in Belgium.

The facility's emergency department, currently under construction, added the DR system in anticipation of increased imaging needs to treat 300-400 patients per day.

One fixed room will be used for fluoroscopy and high-end imaging, with the two DRX-1 systems becoming mobile x-ray rooms to enhance workflow efficiencies and patient care.
