Carestream ships mobile x-ray system
By AuntMinnieEurope.com staff writers

June 28, 2012 -- Carestream Health has begun worldwide shipments of its DRX-Revolution mobile x-ray system.

Designed for bedside imaging, DRX-Revolution offers enhanced alignment of the x-ray tube with a grid to verify placement of medical devices and avoid repeat x-rays, according to the vendor. It also features an extendable tube head to help radiographers maneuver around nearby bedside medical equipment.

The system has two monitors -- the main 19-inch monitor and an 8-inch tube head monitor -- to acquire and review images without moving away from a patient's bed, Carestream said.
