EOS names Hascoët as chairman

Orthopedic digital imaging provider EOS Imaging said it has appointed Gérard Hascoët as chairman of the board.

Hascoët brings more than 30 years of entrepreneurial and international experience to the company, EOS said. He succeeds Mike Dormer, who has served as chairman since 2012.

Hascoët founded urology developer Technomed International in 1985, a company that is now part of EDAP TMS. In 1993, he founded hemodynamic monitoring company Somatec, and neurosurgical robotics firm ISS. He was also CEO of spinal implant firm SpineVision, and founded MD Start, a European incubator for medical technology companies, EOS said.
