Orthopedic digital imaging developer EOS Imaging has received approval from the Brazilian National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) to market its EOS digital x-ray system in the country.
The firm calls the approval a "significant milestone" in its international development, enabling EOS to start marketing and commercial activities in Latin America, which represents 7% of the global market for medical imaging equipment.
EOS has obtained authorization to market its technology in 33 countries, including most recently Japan and Taiwan.
