Carestream Health has added a feature to its DRX-Evolution digital radiography (DR) room that allows users to move the overhead tube with help from the system's motors.
The Motor Assist feature helps reduce technologist fatigue and is three-tiered, ranging from no assistance to low or high assistance, Carestream said.
It is now a standard feature for all new orders of fully automatic DRX-Evolution systems, and it will be available as an upgrade to already installed systems, according to the firm.
