Agfa HealthCare has won a contract to upgrade three of its wireless DX-D 30C Retrofit digital radiography (DR) systems at a U.K. hospital network, the company said.
North Tees and Hartlepool National Health Service (NHS) Foundation Trust provides hospital and community-based healthcare to 365,000 people living in northeast England, according to Agfa.
The company's DX-D Retrofit allows customers to easily upgrade computed radiography (CR)-based modalities to wireless DR, Agfa said. The NX workstation interface has the same look and feel as Agfa's CR systems, and comes equipped with Musica, the company's next-generation image processing software.
