March 8, 2013 -- Agfa HealthCare released its DX-D 400 digital x-ray suite this week at ECR 2013 in Vienna.

The floor-mounted DX-D 400 can be equipped with either Agfa's latest computed radiography (CR) technology or a cassette-sized DX-D digital radiography (DR) detector and the firm's NX multimodality workstation, according to the vendor. The system can be configured to meet specific workflow needs and budget constraints, and is targeted at imaging centers, private practices, and hospitals interested in replacing or adding digital x-ray technology, Agfa said.

It also includes Agfa's Musica2 image processing software.
