March 6, 2013 -- Agfa HealthCare has won a contract with a German hospital to upgrade the facility's computed radiography units with Agfa's wireless detector direct radiography (DR) devices, the company said.
Pius Hospital in Oldenburg has installed Agfa's DX-D Retrofit DR units, replacing its existing Agfa CR cassette-based system, according to the firm.
DX-D Retrofit's NX workstation has the same look and feel as Agfa's CR package, the company said. It offers fast previews, low cycle times, and connectivity with the hospital's RIS, PACS, and hospital information systems, according to Agfa.
