Philips wins contract in the Netherlands

December 26, 2012 -- Royal Philips Electronics, parent company of Philips Healthcare, has signed a 10-year managed services agreement with Sint Maartenskliniek in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, for the supply, installation, maintenance, and upgrade of its imaging equipment.

Sint Maartenskliniek, which has more than 300 beds, specializes in treating conditions related to posture and movement.

Philips will supply imaging equipment for the hospital's radiology department and its operating rooms, according to the company. This will include an unspecified number of CT and MRI scanners, mobile and fixed radiography systems, and ultrasound equipment. The equipment will begin to be installed in the spring of 2013.
