Siemens announces progress with S1000 ultrasound system

June 27, 2012 -- Siemens Healthcare has completed the first installation of an Acuson S1000 diagnostic ultrasound system in the U.K. at the Liverpool Women's National Health Service (NHS) Foundation Trust hospital.

Two systems were purchased by the hospital and are being used for lower limb, obstetric, gynecological, and general imaging examinations in its imaging department.
