Intraop adds Berlin system to installed base

July 20, 2012 -- Intraoperative radiation therapy firm Intraop Medical has installed the 10th of its next-generation Mobetron systems at Helios-Kliniken in Berlin.

The latest version of Mobetron can deliver a complete course of radiation therapy for select breast cancer candidates in two minutes using less than one-tenth of a kilowatt hour (kWh) of electricity, according to the company.
