COCIR welcomes EC e-health plan

December 24, 2012 -- The European Coordination Committee of the Radiological, Electromedical, and Healthcare IT Industry (COCIR) has endorsed an e-health action plan published this month by the European Commission (EC).

The primary objectives of the plan are the following:

  • Achieve wider interoperability in e-health services
  • Support research and innovation and competitiveness in e-health
  • Facilitate deployment and adoption of e-health
  • Promote international cooperation on e-health at a global level
