The European Society of Radiology (ESR) will launch its new ESR iGuide web portal at ECR 2018 to widen access to the society's imaging referral guidelines.
The standalone version of the ESR iGuide clinical decision-support (CDS) software is designed to help ESR members, referring physicians, healthcare organizations, and member states to the European Union and International Atomic Energy Agency comply with European and international radiation protection standards.
The ESR iGuide portal is publicly accessible and offers access to the ESR's imaging referral guidelines based on the American College of Radiology Appropriateness Criteria, through the standalone CDS software provided by the National Decision Support Company.
Access to the portal, which contains more than 1,800 clinical indications, is free until 30 September 2018. Thereafter, it will remain free for all ESR radiologist members, while other individuals can continue to access ESR iGuide through a subscription service.
