March 13, 2013 -- Image display firm Barco has signed 10 contracts with hospitals in Belgium and the Netherlands for its Nexxis software, the company said.
Nexxis is a software package for video-over-Internet-protocol image distribution in the operating room. It is designed to meet medical imaging requirements in the surgical suite, and can distribute uncompressed video, graphics, audio, and computer data throughout the operating room with near-zero latency, the company said.
