JFR 2017 expands international coverage

The Journées Francophones de Radiologie (JFR) congress will for the second straight year allow non-French speakers to submit oral presentations in English for scientific sessions, according to the French Radiology Society (Société Française de Radiologie, SFR).

As was the case at JFR 2016, electronic posters will be presented in multimedia spaces from Japanese, Korean, and Colombian companies, as well as the RSNA, according to the SFR. In addition, 12 international sessions will be organized in English, French, and Spanish on various topics such as breast and pelvis imaging, abdominal and digestive imaging, MRI, and osteoarticular issues. Spanish-speaking colleagues will also be able to present during the Spanish session scheduled for 14 October, the SFR said.

Three U.S. speakers from the American Institute for Radiologic Pathology will also present sessions on cardiovascular, pediatrics, and musculoskeletal topics. These sessions will be held on 14 and 15 October and will be translated simultaneously, the SFR said.
