High-field MRI symposium gets ISMRM endorsement

Organizers of the upcoming 5th Scientific Symposium on Clinical Needs, Research Promises and Technical Solutions in Ultrahigh Field Magnetic Resonance (UHF-MRI) have received the official endorsement of the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM).

The one-day symposium, to be held 20 June, aims to offer an overview of the state-of-the-art in clinical ultrahigh-field MRI, discuss its relevance, and explore future directions with the help of colleagues in the region and internationally, organizers said.

The meeting includes four sessions that aim to balance technical developments with clinical applications, and features a wide range of speakers from around the world, who will urge attendees to address unmet clinical needs. More information on the meeting is available at the symposium's website.

A poster session will accompany the meetings, and a workshop on the design and creation of radiofrequency coils will be held before the meeting, on 17-19 June. All events will be held at Berlin's Ultrahigh Field Facility.
