SyntheticMR signs software agreement

July 26, 2012 -- Medical imaging software developer SyntheticMR, a subsidiary of Accelerator Nordic, has signed an evaluation agreement with an MRI system supplier to evaluate its SyMRI software at selected clinics.
Based on the results, the undisclosed MRI supplier may market SyMRI as an add-on with its MRI systems.
The company is also currently negotiating with other MRI system suppliers for the joint commercialization of SyMRI. The software includes tools to automatically estimate a measure for brain atrophy and retrieve the volume of local brain structures and lesions.
