Philips secures Turkish deal

May 3, 2012 -- Philips Healthcare has signed a deal with Medipol University Hospital in Turkey to install its BrightView XCT and Philips Sonalleve MR HIFU system and other cardiology and oncology technologies at the facility.

Philips estimates the value of the transaction at approximately 13 million euros ($17 million U.S.).

In addition, Medipol Hospital will be equipped with a sleep lab facility, which will include Philips' Alice 6 LDx and LDE polysomnography (PSG) sleep diagnostic systems.
