U.K. oncology center adds Siemens MRI

March 12, 2013 -- Siemens Healthcare has completed an installation of a Magnetom Aera 1.5-tesla MRI system at St. James's Institute of Oncology, part of St. James's University Hospital in Leeds, U.K.

The new MRI system is being used for high-end dynamic imaging, including breast procedures, biopsies, and liver imaging, and replaces a legacy MRI system at the large cancer treatment center.

Siemens has an installed base of three MRI systems at St. James's.
