By AuntMinnieEurope.com staff writers

February 27, 2013 -- The Société d'Imagerie Abdominale et Digestive (SAID) will hold a one-day symposium at Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris on 29 March.

Registration for the meeting, titled "Pelvic Imaging -- And Don't Forget the Digestive Tract," costs from 10 euros to 200 euros, depending on position and membership in SAID and the Société Française de Radiologie (SFR). Information and registration are available by emailing said@sfradiologie.org.

Colorectal cancer is an important health problem, and the second leading cause of cancer mortality in France, and MRI is becoming an increasingly important modality for staging and managing rectal cancer, according to SAID.
