EU grant supports expansion of hybrid imaging research

The award of a European Union (EU) grant from the Horizon 2020 research and innovation program has enabled the Healthcare Yearns Bright Researchers for Imaging Data (HYBRID) project to offer new positions to investigators who are keen to conduct work in hybrid, multi-parametric imaging.

HYBRID is seeking applications from candidates for 15 fully funded doctoral posts for three years, full time, at one of the 11 participating institutions throughout Europe. Its scientific management is overseen by Thomas Beyer, PhD, MBA, a professor of physics of medical imaging at the Center for Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering, QIMP Group, at Medical University of Vienna. Its project manager is Dr. Tina Harmuth from the Institute of Medical Genetics and Applied Genomics at University of Tübingen, Germany.
