OCT in dermatology training center set up in Bonn

June 22, 2012 -- Private medical center Medinizinsches Zentrum Bonn Friedensplatz is establishing a training workshop for dermatologic applications of optical coherence tomography (OCT), according to OCT manufacturer Michelson Diagnostics.

Starting this summer, the one-day workshop billed as the first of its kind will train clinicians in the interpretation of OCT images of the skin, and teach them to use the information to aid and improve their care of patients' skin conditions, especially for nonmelanoma skin cancer, Michelson said.
