June 6, 2012 -- Eckert & Ziegler Radiopharma has obtained manufacturing authorization for pharmaceutical gallium-68 generators, the company said.
An authorization given by the local German authority allows the company to begin using its germanium-68/gallium-68 generators at its newly built manufacturing facilities in Berlin, according to the firm.
Germanium-68/gallium-68 generators enable gallium-68 radionuclide production for use in PET imaging, Eckert & Ziegler said.
