Siemens gets U.K. imaging service contract

March 11, 2013 -- Siemens Healthcare has won a 13-year contract to provide imaging infrastructure support services to the University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.

Siemens will deliver 138 systems, including a range of angiography, CT, MRI, digital radiography, nuclear medicine, breast imaging, and ultrasound systems. It will manage the maintenance, provision, replacement, and training associated with imaging for the life of the contract.

Additional capacity may be added under the terms of the contract.
