France awards bachelor title to technologists, radiotherapists

The French government has awarded the title of bachelor ("license") to holders of higher technical diplomas in medical imaging and radiotherapy (DTS IMRT), as well as holders of state diplomas in radiologic technology (IFMEM), according to the government's legislative journal.

The 16 January decree applies to students obtaining their DTS IMRT in 2015, and students receiving their MEMR OF diplomas in 2015 and who began training starting in the 2012 academic year, the government said.

Obtaining one of these diplomas allows the holder to present a bachelor-grade certification, the journal stated. The complete text in French is available here.
