New imaging center awarded Scottish government funding

A new imaging center that could help with the development of personalized medicine has been awarded 3 million pounds (3.6 million euros) in Scottish government funding, according to a BBC report.

The center will be part of the Glasgow University clinical research facility on the new South Glasgow Hospital site, according to the BBC. The funding ensures that the imaging center will be in place when the hospital opens in 2015.
