Olea Medical partners with Circle CVI, adds to customers

French software developer Olea Medical has partnered with cardiac analysis software developer Circle Cardiovascular Imaging (Circle CVI) to provide cardiac MR postprocessing via Olea Sphere, a multimodal and multiparametric postprocessing and 3D visualization system.

As part of the deal, Olea will offer the cvi42 platform, which includes cmr42 and ct42, as well as report42 for use in cardiac image postprocessing and reporting.

The vendor-independent cardiovascular postprocessing software cvi42 has modules for viewing and analyzing cardiac MR and CT images. The software's automated algorithms and toolset allow for rapid analysis with accuracy in both clinical and research settings, Olea said.

Report42 is a zero-client reporting tool designed to facilitate documentation and reporting of cardiac MR and CT images. Automated import functions from cvi42, a graphic input interface, and associated calculation algorithms allow for a fast and easy transition from quantitative information, such as volumetric and signal intensity data, to a structured report.

Olea Sphere is an image software package for picture archiving, postprocessing and communication. It standardizes across vendors viewing and analysis capabilities of functional and dynamic MR and CT imaging datasets, according to the firm. It also features processing of perfusion-weighted image postprocessing, permeability computation, diffusion-weighted image/tensor image postprocessing, fiber tracking postprocessing, and longitudinal analysis of multiple time points.

In other company news, Olea can also now count NeuroLogica as part of its customer list because the firm is offering Olea's perfusion analysis software for its BodyTom and CereTom CT scanners. Olea Sphere Enterprise Package includes perfusion and analysis plug-ins, as well as permeability and longitudinal monomodal CT options.
