Image-guided therapy firm Brainlab has named Jan Merker as its chief operating officer (COO).
Merker, who succeeds Dr. Christoph Pedain, joins Brainlab after serving stints with Maquet and MediKomp. In his new position on the executive board, Merker will be responsible for supply chain management, IT, business process engineering, service, facility management, and human resources, Brainlab stated, which has its head office in Munich.
