Canon division signs 3D-printing deal with Materialise

Canon Lifecare Solutions has signed an agreement with Materialise to distribute medical 3D-printing software in Japan.

With the agreement, users of workstations and 3D printers offered by Canon Lifecare Solutions will be able to use Materialise's software, including Materialise's Mimics Innovation and Care Suites.

The deal also includes the newly launched Materialise Mimics inPrint software, which allows clinicians to 3D print in hospitals by connecting data from all modern imaging systems.
