June 13, 2012 -- A district court in Linköping, Sweden, has ruled in favor of Sapheneia in ongoing litigation between the firm and image enhancement developer ContextVision, ContextVision said.
The court ruled that ContextVision is to reimburse Sapheneia for its legal and procedural costs in the amount of 3.9 million Swedish kronor (442,000 euros), but it also stated that it had "no possibility to form an opinion of whether Sapheneia's software infringes on ContextVision's software GOPView," according to the firm.
ContextVision plans to appeal the decision and noted that the ruling will not affect its operations going forward.
