Updates include an integrated radiation lamp, a 31-cm field-of-view, ergonomic support through the addition of 20 cm to the vertical lift, and a wireless connection for transmitting image data to a hospital's PACS.

Also on display in Ziehm's booth will be SmartDose, a dose reduction package that the company is debuting at the conference. SmartDose features laser positioning, object detected dose control, pulse technology, and radiation-free magnification, as well as Ziehm's adaptive image processing to support dose reduction up to 20% with all flat-panel C-arms, according to the firm.
