Aloka shows new system at ECR

Ultrasound vendor Aloka of Tokyo is unveiling a new diagnostic ultrasound system at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna.

The ProSound 4 is a standalone, black-and-white system in a compact unit for enhanced image quality. It is compatible with many probes for radiology, ob/gyn, urology, and surgery, according to Aloka.

The ProSound 4 also can connect to DICOM networks.
