Agfa signs software deal with Laurel Bridge
November 30, 2011 -- Agfa Healthcare has cut a deal with software developer Laurel Bridge Software to use its Exodus PACS Migration Controller globally as Agfa's preferred software for assessing, planning, performing, validating, and reporting its PACS migrations. The enterprise licensing agreement was announced at the RSNA 2011 meeting in Chicago.
Siemens installs Artis zee at U.K. hospital
November 30, 2011 -- Siemens Healthcare has installed its Artis zee system at Royal Albert Edward Infirmary in Lancashire, U.K. The floor-mounted system with a 20 x 20 detector is being used for interventional cardiology in the hospital's newly opened interventional laboratory.
