Siemens contributes to King's research project

Siemens Healthineers recently installed a Somatom Force CT system at the King's Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre in the U.K. to aid in imaging research.

The Transforming Outcomes and Health Economics Through Imaging (TOHETI) program is designed to investigate ways to improve medical imaging, streamline diagnostic pathways, enhance patient care, and make healthcare more cost-effective.

Siemens already had installed two other CT scanners and two 3-tesla MRI systems, which are set to go live later this year across Guy's and St Thomas' National Health Service (NHS) Foundation Trust.

Guy's and St. Thomas' Charity has contributed 13.3 million pounds (17.4 million euros) to the TOHETI program.
