ESR searches for new European Radiology editor in chief

The European Society of Radiology (ESR) is looking for a new editor in chief of European Radiology. As of October 2017, Dr. Maximilian Reiser will step down from the position.

The post is for a term of three years initially and is open to established radiologists who are or recently have been practicing radiology at the staff/consultant level in a renowned institution. Candidates should have a demonstrably strong record in scientific publishing and experience of editorial work of at least the editorial board level at an internationally respected radiological journal, the ESR said.

The society is looking for an individual with a wide knowledge of most branches of radiology, an international reputation as a research radiologist, and an understanding of how radiological practice varies from country to country.
