Guerbet makes changes to board of directors

Contrast manufacturer Guerbet has added Nicholas Louvet to the board of directors and announced the departures of two other directors, including Louvet's father.

A member of the Guerbet family, Nicolas Louvet has worked for 15 years in the automobile industry, including stints with Valeo's lighting systems division and Japanese equipment group Yazaki. Meanwhile, his father Christian Louvet is ending his term of office on the board. The elder Louvet was secretary general of the Guerbet family shareholders' pact from 2002 to 2012.

In addition, Jacques Bertrand leaves the board as scheduled following the end of his term of office, Guerbet said. Currently chairman of the board of directors of Pierre Fabre, Bertrand had previously served as chairman of Guerbet's supervisory board from May 2006 to May 2010 and chairman of the board of directors from May 2010 to September 2013.

Guerbet's board of directors now includes eight members and is chaired by Marie-Claire Janailhac-Fritsch.
