Accuray prepares ESTRO 2015 enhancements

Radiation oncology firm Accuray said it will be presenting several new capabilities for its CyberKnife and TomoTherapy products at this week's European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ESTRO) meeting in Barcelona, Spain.

A new Delivery Analysis Software package for the TomoTherapy system offers a tool designed to provide increased access to treatment delivery information, according to the company. In addition to unveiling its InCise multileaf collimator (MLC) for the CyberKnife M6 system, Accuray said it will also introduce an enhanced Synchrony respiratory tracking system for CyberKnife that will make it easier for clinicians to know when they are precisely tracking and adjusting for moving targets.
