IBA sells ProteusOne system in France

Ion Beam Applications (IBA) said it has delivered the first ProteusOne proton therapy accelerator in Europe to Centre Antoine Lacassagne in Nice, France.

The superconducting proton therapy accelerator is smaller, less expensive, and faster to install than other accelerators, and supports intensity-modulated proton therapy (IMPT), the company said.
