Analogic collaborates with D&K Technologies

Medical imaging firm Analogic has entered into a distribution agreement with D&K Technologies, developer of BioJet, a 3D MRI transrectal ultrasound fusion technology.

Analogic will distribute BioJet for use with its BK Flex Focus ultrasound systems in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Luxemburg, North America, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and the U.K.

In other Analogic news, the company has received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its handheld Sonic Window ultrasound scanner. Sonic Window is used for visualizing vasculature and guiding peripheral intravenous access procedures. The size of a TV remote control, it uses a rechargeable battery, does not have cables and wires connecting it to a transducer, and does not require a cart or stand to operate, according to the firm.
