The German Association of Oncologic Imaging (ABO) has named Dr. Heinz-Peter Schlemmer as its chair, the German Radiological Society (DRG) announced.
ABO is the voice of imaging in the German Cancer Society. The society is chaired, alternately each year, by a member of the ABO or the DRG. Schlemmer, from Heidelburg, was appointed at this year's Cancer Congress held on February 19-22 in Berlin. Schlemmer is also chairman of commercial oncologic imaging for DRG.
At the congress, Schlemmer discussed the use of PET/CT in lymphoma diagnosis. The meeting provided a unique opportunity to address cancer care physicians directly with issues related to cardiac imaging, DRG said.
